Uno

Uno, my latest writing project, will take you on a path to reexamine what it means to love, respect, and care for every living being, cada ser viviente, in this place we call home. The story is based on "hechos reales" on South Beach @ Salish Sea, Washington State. The book includes a complete glossary. It will be a beautiful addition to your library, and ideal for a level 4 Spanish class, or a Spanish heritage class.

Themes: family, friendship, humane protocols towards animals, unexcepted friendships, belonging, stewards of our environment, the Pacific Northwest, and marine life.

This is a book that is meant to be shared and read aloud. This said; it can also be an independent reader for those students who can understand an intermediate-level book.

En esta historia, viajarás a un archipiélago de islas llamadas San Juan Islands, específicamente a una llamada Friday Harbor. Estas islas están localizadas entre el estado de Washington y Canadá, y allí, conocerás a Uno.
