“El sueño de un marino” is the second book of a series that will strive to share the story of the people of Puerto Rico since it was first discovered over 500 years ago.
The first book in the series is titled: Borikén 1493. This book is titled: El sueño de un marino. In this book the reader will be transported to the time when an Italian voyager named Christopher Columbus dreamed of finding the Indies up to when Spain initiated the transition from colonization to conquest. In this historical fiction story, you will learn about what happened to the Taíno Indians as well as who Christopher Columbus was, as we believe it to be a true account of the events. It is my sincere hope that reading this book provides a clearer view of what those that came before us paved and lived so that we could be who we are today.
Reading about our past is the purest way of accepting that we have a trail and that we leave one as we walk each day.
